PlanPriceCheck collects prices for factory-backed extended service plans from three kinds of sources: reported paid prices (buyers in public owner forums or our form), online seller quotes (prices sellers published or emailed), and dealer quotes (what a local finance office offered). Each row records the source URL, the date it was reported and the date we saw it.

Of 160 seed rows, 129 were read directly from the source page; 31 come from pages (mostly Reddit) that block automated reading and were captured from search-engine copies. Those are marked "via search index".

We don't edit prices. Old reports stay for history and are labeled with their date. Prices vary by VIN, mileage, state, options and time.

Independence: We are not affiliated with Ford, Toyota, Honda, General Motors, Stellantis or any dealer. Seller listings are not endorsements. If we ever carry paid listings or affiliate links, they will be clearly labeled and won't change the price data.
